Read the label before you buy home cleaner.

You must definitely know how harmful components affect our health. Today, dear readers, I will introduce you to safe detergents and cleaners.

Harmful cleaning and detergents

1) Chlorine and its compounds can cause:

  • heart disease;
  • anemia;
  • increased pressure;
  • allergies;
  • asthma.

Negatively affect hair, nails, skin. Most chlorine is found in bleaching products. Maybe you should think about what is more important to you health or cleanliness of linen?

2) Phosphates and phosphonates soften water in washing powders.

They provoke:

  • allergies;
  • destruction of the respiratory tract;
  • increased frequency of asthma attacks.

Health-conscious manufacturers are replacing phosphates with zeolites and polycarboxylates.

  • anionic;
  • cationic;
  • nonionic.

The most harmful and dangerous are anionic (A-Pav). They dramatically undermine the immune system, contribute to allergies, lead to damage to the brain, liver, kidneys, lungs.

4) Formaldehyde.

5) hydrochloric acid.

Organic detergents and cleaning products

Organic cleaners replace harmful household chemicals. A product is considered organic if it contains 70% natural ingredients.
It must undergo strict control and receive an environmental certificate, as evidenced by a holographic badge on the bank.

Safe cleaning and detergents are made on the basis of beneficial bacteria and enzymes; they can also include alkalis, essential oils, and pure water.

Each manufacturer has its own individual formula.

Detergents even contain components that take care of our hands: oils, extracts. When using such products, household gloves do not need to be worn.

All organic hygiene products must be diluted with warm water, observing the indicated dosage.

Action of organic detergents and cleaning agents

How do probiotic cleansers work? Also, as in fermented milk products, they do not allow pathogenic flora to multiply. Cleansers create an invisible film.

Live probiotics live up to 8 days, how can they survive in products with a shelf life of more than a year. The fact is that they enter the jar in the form of spores, germs of bacteria that serve to maintain life in critical conditions.

Thus, survivability is preserved when dried and frozen, and they die when heated to 120 degrees.

Probiotics in a spore state survive well during transport and storage. Therefore, you need to dilute the cleaning agent with water at a temperature not higher than 40 degrees and store the diluted one for no more than a week.

Enzymes are non-toxic substances, they are used to make medicines, food and in modern bio-powders.

A combination of protease, amylase, lipase is usually used.

Protease is an enzyme that cleans well from blood, sweat, eggs, that is, from protein stains.

Amylase removes impurities from potatoes, chocolate, dairy food, starch, baby food.

Lipase removes greasy dirt.

Cellulase - another component used, refreshes fabrics, softens water, and improves the quality of washing.

Organic products are universal, they remove any dirt: fat, oil, berries, lipstick, even chewing gum.

Cheap and effective detergents and cleaning products

Always remember about cheap and effective grandma's detergents and cleaners.

Baking soda is a cheap and most importantly safe means for cleaning dishes, sinks, refrigerators, tiles.
lemon juice removes rust from dishes, aluminum, porcelain, it is good to use it for washing windows.

Vinegar removes wax stains, resins, disinfects, removes scale, cleans tiles and glass.

Ordinary soapy water removes fat well.

It's best if you make safe detergents yourself.

1) Sew a small bag out of the rag and place the remnants there, a handy self-soaping rag is ready.

2) DIY washing gel:

  • hot water - 0.5 l;
  • household soap - 25 gr;
  • vodka - table. a spoon;
  • glycerin - three tablespoons.

Grate the soap and add water, stir and let it cool. Then add vodka and glycerin. Pour the prepared mixture into a bottle of detergent.

3) To clean the kitchen, bath from dirt, prepare a paste:

  • 100 grams of soap, better than household soap;
  • a glass of hot water;
  • soda - half a pack;
  • slightly essential oilbut not necessary, just for the scent.

Grate with soap, pour in water and beat for 15 minutes with a mixer. Then add baking soda. If you need a liquid mass, then pour in more water (two stacks) and a packet of soda.

When you wash greasy pans, you can throw mustard into the paste. Store the paste in a closed glass jar.

Harmless detergents and cleaning agents

4) Safe wash gel.

  • households soap - 50 gr;
  • one liter of water;
  • soda ash - 45 g;
  • essential oil.

Shake the grated soap well in boiling water. Then add soda, if the mass is thick, pour water. Add a drop of essential oil if desired.

For linen, take 2 tablespoons per 5 kg of linen.

5) Do not forget about soda ash, it can be poured into the water when you wash the floor, clean the tiles, bathroom, sink, prevent scale, soften the water.

6) To remove mold take:

  • a teaspoon of alcohol;
  • a few teaspoons of tea tree oil;
  • 0.5 l of water.

Pour the resulting liquid into a spray bottle and spray onto the contaminated areas.

7) To clean the toilet, pour in a glass of vinegar and throw in a handful of soda, let it foam, then scrub.

Conclusion: try to do with harmless detergents and cleaning products, because every housewife always has vinegar, mustard, soda, laundry soap at hand.

Sincerely, Olga

Researchers have calculated that about half a kilogram of household chemicals gets into the human body in a year, so the choice of cleaning and detergents for the kitchen should be carefully considered. The effectiveness of the fight against grease and dirt is the main criteria for their selection. But do not forget about health safety, especially if there are small children in the house.

Modern detergents

Consumers are increasingly thinking about the safety of purchased kitchen cleaning products. Maybe we should go back to grandma's methods? Or choose funds that are more expensive and of better quality? Manufacturers listen to the opinion of buyers, try to take into account the needs of the target audience and offer a large selection of household chemicals for cleaning the kitchen.

Release form

Depending on the form of release, the following types are distinguished:

Composition

Many packages of household chemicals have a recommendation for working with gloves and ventilating the room during and after processing. Most often, modern dishwashing detergents include a standard set of elements:

This is a typical composition. Natural ingredients are rarely used and in small quantities, which makes one think about the safety of using purchased goods. In the new generation of products, there are more natural ingredients, there are no surfactants and phosphates.

Rating of cleaning products for the kitchen

There are many different bottles on store shelves... What are recommended as the best kitchen cleaners:

Folk remedies for cleaning

Folk remedies are less convenient to use, but more environmentally friendly and economical. Everything you need for cleaning can be found on the shelves of most housewives.

Soda and its combinations

Soda is used in the kitchen and in cooking and cleaning. Combinations of baking soda with various substances are used in many situations.

Vinegar and baking soda will help get rid of old fat in the oven and restore shine. Spray vinegar in the oven, paying special attention to the side surfaces and the "ceiling" - these are hard-to-reach places that get dirty quickly and are difficult to clean. Sprinkle baking soda on damp surfaces. Spray vinegar on very old stains again. Close the door and leave it overnight - this is enough time for the vinegar to react with the baking soda. Remove the remaining mixture in the morning.

A combination of baking soda and lemon juice gives a similar effect in the fight against grease and heavy dirt. The processing sequence is the same as with vinegar.

A paste consisting of 10 tablespoons of baking soda, the same amount of hydrogen peroxide, 2 tablespoons purchased product dishwashing detergent will help clean the pots. Apply the paste to the dishes on all sides and leave for half an hour. Then wash thoroughly - the pots will shine like new.

Vinegar, lemon juice, or citric acid

These three remedies will help you forget about scale. It is enough to boil a small amount of the active substance in a kettle. They can be used for preventive cleaning of the interior of the washing machine by adding powder instead of powder and starting a short wash program.

Mustard powder

Make a thick paste with powder and water... Before cooking it is recommended to wear gloves, open a window and close the door to the room. Using a hard sponge, apply the product to tiles and kitchen appliances. Half an hour is enough for the powder to work, then you can rinse off and admire the result. And don't forget to wash your hands thoroughly.

Homemade home remedies

In order not to buy cleaning products and not to dilute them every time, you can prepare products for different purposes yourself.

A household dish detergent contains:

  • 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds;
  • 1 tablespoon castor oil
  • water;
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • baby soap.

Dilute the grated soap in water. In a water bath, bring the solution to the consistency of thick sour cream, adding water, if necessary. If foam forms, remove it. Add castor oil, coffee grounds and mustard. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for scent. An alcoholic extract of calendula will give antibacterial properties.

It is convenient to mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle to combat grease:

  • 1 glass of alcohol;
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon orange essential oil

Use in the same way as purchased sprays: apply to the surface, leave for half an hour and wipe with a rag. Alcohol and vinegar will remove dirt, and orange oil will leave a light scent.

A universal product for removing dirt and grease, making shine, consists of vinegar and citrus peels: lemon, tangerine or orange. Fill the crust with a bite and leave to infuse for 2 weeks. Dilute the tincture with water in a ratio of 1: 2. It can be used to clean floors, tiles, sinks and cabinets.

Kitchen appliances and furniture

Above were listed universal remedies. But what if cleaning of a separate item or equipment is scheduled for today? There are tricks for handling every element of the kitchen.

Plate

Pour soda on the surface of the stove, moisten it with water and leave for half an hour. At this time, remove the wire rack and soak in soapy water. Clean the glass on the oven door with a paste of baking soda and water, left for half an hour. After the allotted time, remove the remnants of the products from the surfaces to be treated, wipe with a clean cloth.

When preparing a large number of dishes, it is convenient to cover the surface of the plate with foil. In this case, everything boiled out from the pots will remain on the foil, after removing it, the detergent for the stove is not needed.

A bowl of water will help loosen the dirt inside the oven. Place a bowl on the bottom of the oven turn on the fire, bring to a boil. The evaporated water will soften the dirt, making further cleaning easier.

Microwave

Take 1 tablespoon of vinegar, citric acid, or squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Dissolve the active substance in a cup of water. Put the container in the microwave for 5 minutes. After that, it remains only to wipe the inner surfaces with a damp sponge. Leave the door open until completely dry. All dirt and odors will disappear.

Refrigerator

If the model is to be defrosted, do so. It is better to treat all surfaces inside the refrigerator with a soapy solution based on warm water. Treat the outer surfaces with a dampened sponge and baking soda, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

An unpleasant smell in the refrigerator is easily eliminated. It is enough to put a glass with used tea bags or soda for several days and leave it at least overnight.

The kitchen door seal will last longer if you wipe it down with soapy water, wipe it dry, and sprinkle it with baby powder.

Kitchen set

Wipe the inner surfaces of the cabinets with a damp cloth. If a smell remains after drying, then wipe with a cloth dipped in a table bite. To keep the interior dry, place chalk or rice in cloth or paper bags on the shelves.

Wipe cabinet fronts with a sponge dipped in a soda solution: 3 tablespoons per liter of water. After the baking soda treatment, wipe the fronts with a cloth well dampened in water so as not to leave white streaks. Before processing the facades, it is recommended to test the effect of the product on a small inconspicuous area.

Treat glass fronts and apron with cornstarch solution. Take half a tablespoon of dry matter, dilute it in water, adding one-eighth of each alcohol and vinegar. The solution is suitable for use within a month. Remove residual solution soft cloth or a paper towel.

Tile

To add shine, wipe the tile with a cloth dipped in ammonia.

The joints between tiles can be cleaned with a toothbrush. Apply wet baking soda to the brush, process the joints. Then treat them with hydrogen peroxide, rub in the composition. After 10 minutes, the composition can be washed off and the tile can be wiped dry.

Floors and other surfaces

Linoleum can be wiped with laundry soap diluted in water.

The parquet floor must be washed with a small amount of cool and clean water without using aggressive agents.

If there are traces of furniture on the wood floor, carefully remove the top layer of the coating with sandpaper or a metal sponge. Wipe the treated areas with turpentine and cover with mastic. To avoid repetition, attach felt or computer mat pads to the furniture legs.

Heating batteries are wiped with a dish brush and soap solution.

Remove stains on wallpaper with a school eraser. Sprinkle a fresh stain of fat with chalk or salt, then wipe it with a damp cloth.

The ventilation grill is soaked in soapy water, especially stubborn stains are scraped off with a knife or wooden stick.

The kitchen is the face of the hostess. It takes a long time to keep it clean. To carry it out with benefit and without prejudice to health, use modern and folk remedies.

Hello my dear! Nowadays it has become popular to use products with the prefix "BIO" or "ECO" in everyday life. In fact, these letters mean that the product we buy is bio and environmentally friendly. Even the most unenlightened person will prefer them instead of chemistry. But when choosing products for the home, we rarely read the composition of the product, hoping for beautiful inscriptions on the packaging. This is our naivety. Those who read the article to the end are waiting for recipes for natural cleaning and detergents that you can make yourself.

I have recently become interested in natural cleaning agents and detergents. But this did not prevent me from learning a lot of useful information about what products can be considered BIO and ECO. Everything would be fine if not for the huge prices for safe detergents and cleaners of good quality. Honestly, to spend such sums, even for the sake of my health, I would not have enough money. Then I was visited by a question: how did people wash, wash, wash before? After all, all the diversity that reigns on our shelves was not. In fact, the mind modern man so clouded by the beautiful promises of manufacturers about the magical properties of their products that we do not see the obvious and most ordinary things. And so in order ...

The composition of household chemicals: what is it?

I will list you the most common components of household chemicals that poison our lives.

  • Chlorine. Who doesn't know him? Kills bacteria, disinfects, removes stubborn dirt ... How beautiful it is. But no one writes on the packaging that this substance is a poison of pure water. As a result, anemia, diseases of the cardiovascular system, hypertension, atherosclerosis, cancer! Not enough for you? Move on.
  • Phosphonates and Phosphates are part of washing powders. They affect the respiratory and immune systems. Detergents should not contain more than 5 percent. In countries where this poison is prohibited, less harmful zeolites and polycarboxylates are added to powders. The tongue can be broken.
  • PAWS - surfactants. It's just a bomb for our body. They affect absolutely everything: liver, kidneys, brain, accumulate in the human body and destroy us from the inside. By the way, they are very difficult to wash off the surface, be it clothes or dishes.

Other substances that shorten our life and are part of household chemicals:

  • sodium hypochlorite (it is called sodium hypochlorite on the packaging, acts as a bleach)
  • phenols and cresols (antibacterial substances)
  • formaldehyde (carcinogen)
  • flavors, fragrances, dyes also contribute to our health, although not so aggressively

Do-it-yourself natural and safe detergents

I do not deny that it is impossible to completely eliminate the use of household chemicals, but you can limit it. Follow a few rules and your body will say THANK YOU:

  • read the composition on the labels, choose the safest detergents and cleaning products
  • completely abandon chlorine, it can be successfully replaced with products containing fruit acids
  • if your budget allows, buy genuine organic and organic products that do not contain the above chemicals
  • use household chemicals as little as possible
  • dIY natural detergents and cleaners.

Safe detergents for home you can make yourself from ordinary products. We need:

  • soda ash
  • baking soda
  • vinegar
  • citric acid (lemon juice)
  • mustard powder
  • laundry soap
  • sunflower oil
  • ground coffee (can be used)
  • essential oils

DIY dishwashing liquid

To prepare it, take a piece of high-quality laundry soap. I usually do this: soaping a sponge, like a trick, and as usual I sing dishes to it. In this case, foam is formed, and dirt and grease is washed off no worse than "Fairy". If you want to wipe off burnt fat or plaque, then simple soda will come to the rescue. For flavor, you can add a few drops or lemon to it. Just remember to pour the baking soda into a separate jar with a tight-fitting lid so that the esters don't evaporate.

How do I clean my sink naturally?

If you often brew ground coffee, do not throw away any leftovers. They can be used successfully to remove plaque from sinks and mugs. To do this, pour some coffee into the sink, rub the sponge with soap and rub.

If you're worried about scratching the surface, you can use mustard powder and baking soda instead. They will clean the surface more delicately, but no less effectively.

Diy tool for stoves and ovens

As everyone probably knows, these places are the most difficult to clean and wash. The stores sell a huge number of bubbles that instantly cleanse of burnt food and dirt. Indeed, they are very effective, but no less harmful, like the rest household chemicals.

If you use only industrial products, then do not be lazy and wipe the entire surface a hundred times after you washed the tile or oven. Thus, you leave a minimum of residues on the surface, which evaporate when heated and literally poison us.

Well, in order to clean the oven with natural means, you need soda, soap, a hard sponge and a metal sponge. Combine the soap solution with you and wipe off the entire surface to be cleaned, leave to soak for a while, then rub thoroughly with a sponge and rinse with water.

Recently, in order to less contaminate the oven, I have been using foil and baking paper. They perfectly protect it from splashes, and prevent fat and juices from burning on the baking sheet.

DIY window cleaner

Well, this tool is easy to do. It will cost you a penny. Just mix clean water with vinegar in a ratio (5: 1). I take 70 percent vinegar essence. I pour the solution into a spray bottle and wash the windows in the usual way. After that, they shine, and there is not a single gram of dust and dirt on them.

Toilet bowl disinfectant

You are unlikely to get rid of rusty and limescale thanks to this recipe, but you can kill all germs and disinfect the rim of the toilet bowl and around it with a simple homemade remedy. Combine vinegar (4 tablespoons of essence), water (one glass) and (5 drops). Pour the solution into an empty spray bottle and use as directed. You can also make a similar product with hydrogen peroxide. Read more about this.

DIY washing gel

To be honest, it was a revelation for me. To make it, rub 50 grams of laundry soap (it is important that it is natural, without unnecessary and unnecessary additives), add one liter of water and put on low heat. Dissolve soda ash in half a glass of water. When the soap dissolves (in no case should it be brought to a boil), add a soda solution. Mix everything thoroughly and set to cool. For washing in washing machine we need 200-220 grams of gel, plus or minus, everything depends on the model.
