The British Foreign Office has proposed changes to the UN International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, RIA Novosti reports.

The document, based on the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, has been signed and ratified by 168 countries. The document states that a “pregnant woman” should be under special protection and cannot be subject to the death penalty. The UK opposes the term because it "excludes transgender people who may also be pregnant." The British government is asking to replace the term “pregnant woman” with “pregnant person” in UN documents so that it includes transgender people, the Times writes, citing a source in the country’s Foreign Ministry.

Such an initiative did not find a response in feminist circles in Great Britain. Writer Sarah Ditum called it "offensive because it would deny a woman the right to call herself a woman on pain of being branded a bigot."

In addition, ministers are discussing possible changes to the law that would allow British citizens to confirm their gender reassignment without providing medical evidence.

Earlier in January, the British Medical Association released a 14-page “Guide to Effective Communication” asking doctors not to refer to pregnant women as “mums-to-be” to avoid offending transgender people. In the same document, representatives of the medical community proposed the term “pregnant people.”

There is a fierce debate in the Church of England over the treatment of transgender people. In June, the clergy announced a program for the adaptation of believers who have changed their gender. In particular, it was planned to rewrite the texts of divine services especially for them. "I hope we can make a powerful statement to show that we believe trans people love God," Church of England synod member Chris Newlands said. Instead, he noted that not all bishops support this topic. They claim that a person's gender is determined only by God, so it cannot be changed.

Expert assessments

Alexander Prokhanov: The world is soaking up yet another gender news: the British have decided to no longer use the expression “pregnant woman”, because there are individuals who carry both feminine and masculine traits.

There is a rapid invasion of the biological environment, of biological organisms, of biological individuals. The construction of bacteria, the construction of algae, the construction of insects, the construction of animals and, in the end, the construction of man are underway. The latest human science allows (or very soon will allow) the creation of artificial people with the parameters that are included in the original dossier. Artificial intelligence makes it possible to give this organism, this constructed individual, the character of an emotionally and intellectually equipped person. For example, all kinds of composite materials can create skin membranes or bone composition for that person. And an invasion of genetics can create individuals of both male and female, as well as mixed genders that cannot be defined as male or female. And also, apparently, something that generally goes beyond the boundaries of gender: a creature devoid of sexual characteristics, endowed with some other, not yet existing characteristics. For example, such signs that - forgive me this vulgarity - are capable of becoming pregnant from the stools on which they sit and, in the end, giving birth not to people, but to the stools with which they thus copulated. I'm exaggerating, but such a possibility exists.

Therefore, this news, which has now been announced and caused the indignation of feminists and the delight of free-thinking liberals, is a signal of the future uncertainty in which today's people will be placed. How he will deal with this uncertainty is difficult to say, because there is freedom of research, freedom of unlimited experiment. People - especially rich people, rich people - are engaged in biotechnology in order to extend their lives indefinitely. And ideally, to become immortal. And in the creation of an immortal person, such characteristics as gender may turn out to be completely superfluous and unnecessary. Therefore, it seems to me that modern people should very carefully monitor the progress of digital spheres, the progress of modern biotechnologies, so that one fine day they do not cover people with a huge black cap and place them in the category of a minority, whose name is man.

I think the story will go like this. The revolution of the 21st century, in particular the biotechnological revolution, cannot be stopped, because behind this revolution there are gigantic money, gigantic forces and, in general, apparently, a global trend. Research and fabrication cannot be stopped, no matter how indignant the church or the humanities are. But at some point the emergence of this new environment, which denies the traditional man, will cause a rebellion. The uprising of humanity is inevitable ahead. How will this uprising end? Hard to say. But the uprising of man against biorobots, the uprising of man against anti-humanity, the uprising of man against superhumanity is inevitable. And we must prepare for this uprising, and then artists or preachers must lead this uprising - no matter how it ends. Perhaps all the divinely revealed artists and shepherds will fall in this uprising, but perhaps, at the cost of enormous upheavals and sacrifices, it will lead to the return of humanity.

I've been rereading the Apocalypse more and more lately. The coming of the Kingdom of Heaven, the coming of a new Jerusalem, the coming of a new Earth and a new Heaven will be associated with a huge uprising, with huge catastrophes, with a huge, gigantic, perhaps the last revolution in this world.

Not "pregnant woman", but "pregnant person". It is this formulation that should replace the previous one in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. This is what the British Foreign Office demands from the United Nations. The authors of the scandalous initiative explained the need for changes by injustice towards transgender people, who are not included in the “pregnant” category. Nothing is known about the UN's reaction yet, but even in the Kingdom itself, opinions are divided.

Information about the scandalous initiative of the British Foreign Ministry leaked to the pages of the English press. The influential The Times came out with an article about a strange request from London - the United Nations proposed replacing the term “pregnant women” with the more neutral and impersonal “people” in official documents. The country's Foreign Ministry diplomatically explains that this is dictated by respect for transgender people, who may also be pregnant. Conservatives in the British Parliament immediately spoke out against such a shift in traditional foundations, reports.

"Is this what we have come to as a great nation? What are we paying civil servants to come up with such nonsense? Does the Foreign Office have nothing more to worry about? I'll challenge anyone to go out and find one a person who would call the term “pregnant woman” offensive,” said Philip Davis, a member of the British Parliament from the Conservative Party, indignantly.

21-year-old Hayden Cross became the first man in the Kingdom to bear a child. And he didn’t hide his interesting position in front of the cameras. In fact, Hayden was a girl from birth, but at the age of 18 he declared himself a man and changed his documents. And in order to become a happy father, and at the same time a mother, I found a donor on social networks. The national medical system was against his pregnancy. Now they are trying to give transgender people equal rights with others in Britain. But feminists strongly disagree.

"This is not inclusion of transgender people in society. This is direct censorship of women. Having female reproductive organs and understanding what this means for procreation does not imply any discrimination," says writer and women's rights activist Sarah Ditum.

Transgender people are also looked up to in Germany, literally. Lieutenant Colonel Anastasia became the commander of one of the battalions of the German army. Until the age of forty, she did not stand out in any way from the male system, but then she began to take hormonal drugs, and when the military uniform ceased to hide feminine curves, she unexpectedly received a promotion. Now she has 750 people under her command.

Transgender people even made it into the centerfold of the male-only Playboy. The seemingly half-naked girl in the latest issue of an erotic magazine is actually a 24-year-old Frenchman of North African origin who has had a sex change.

The initiative of the British Foreign Office was a continuation of the rhetoric of Theresa May herself. The Prime Minister has repeatedly called on the British to consider changes to the law on gender recognition, allowing people to “self-assess” their gender. But this policy is widely considered as clumsy as the steps taken by Britain's first transgender ballerina, who was recently a brutal racing driver.

Boris Ivanin, Anna Morozova, TV Center.

Loud statements in defense of the rights of sexual minorities, made in the West both by the minorities themselves and by well-known politicians, have already become commonplace. In Europe, the USA, Canada and other countries of the “democratic world”, a whole range of laws and instructions in favor of the LGBT community have been adopted and are being polished - from the legalization of gay marriage and the adoption of children by same-sex couples to the corresponding pedagogical manuals. Meanwhile, Britain surprised even the most experienced: official London asked to replace the term “pregnant woman” with “pregnant ‘people’ not women” in UN documents, so as not to offend transgender people, writes the Times.

'Pregnant People': London at the forefront of the 'great sexual revolution'We must keep up with the times - apparently, the British government thought and proposed replacing the term “pregnant woman” with “pregnant person” in UN documents. All that remains is to throw up your hands and repeat - oh brave new world!

This initiative caused a negative reaction among feminists. “It is insulting that women should be denied the right to call themselves women on pain of being labeled bigots,” lamented writer Sarah Ditum. The British Foreign Ministry began to make excuses - they say that no one is writing off pregnant women.

This is the highlight. The point is not that the British tried to put on the honorary jersey of the leader in the global race for politically correct values. The initiative of the official authorities and the reaction of feminists showed the presence of deep contradictions in the liberal environment: its representatives have different understandings of what they, liberals, should strive for. It became clear that the ideologists and theorists of gender freedom had completely confused their followers. Or because these followers know nothing about the road they are following. Or due to the fact that the fantasy of the theorists of political correctness is so extreme that it can darken even the clearest mind, which we will demonstrate a little later.

Now let's talk about everything in order. So, the British Foreign Office proposed amending the UN International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights by adding the above term “pregnant person”. This document obliges the signatory countries (there are 168 of them) to comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948.

In Great Britain itself, transgender people already have equal rights with everyone to whom nature has given the opportunity to give birth, that is, with women. Thus, the British Medical Association instructs doctors not to call pregnant women “future mothers” so as not to offend transgender people. Now the UK is trying to impart its experience to the whole world.

For those who are behind the times, it is worth explaining. A transgender person is a person who has changed their gender. Moreover, gender reassignment does not necessarily involve surgery. Suffice it to say that you feel, for example, not a woman, but a man, even if you were born a woman. And vice versa. What is important is that “natural” gender does not play any role here at all. The two “natural” sexes, according to supporters of this view of the world, are only two genders among a great many other genders. You can assign yourself any gender, depending on who you feel like you are. This is the whole point of new trends in the West, where, according to various sources, there are up to 40 of these same genders.

Such people are not accepted as astronauts. Trump protected the army from transgender peopleThe US President showed his will. Now they won’t join the army, and they won’t fly into space. The troops do not need unnecessary worries and expenses. Traditional values and caring for America.

As for the specific requirement of Great Britain, it is clear that we are talking about individuals who were born women and, naturally, can give birth to children, but do not want to be called women and mothers, but want to be called men or something else (regardless of whether they were born gender reassignment surgery or not).

Let's make a small digression. The British are not alone in their desire to establish “gender freedom.” This was a cornerstone of the Obama administration's policy, which late in its presidency pushed through a "non-discrimination on the basis of gender identity" mandate approved by the U.S. Departments of Justice and the U.S. Departments of Education. This document obliges the administration of secondary schools to equip transgender toilets and ensure other rights of transgender people. For example, if a boy student declares that he is a girl, then teachers are obliged to give him the right to use the locker room and shower for girls, and so on.

The defense of gender freedom in the West has gone very far, in all directions. And the most important of these directions is a change in the consciousness and conceptual apparatus of the masses. The leading American news agency The Associated Press, in its regularly updated grammar reference book Associated Press Stylebook, which, as The Washington post writes, is “the main grammatical judge for journalists around the world,” introduced a new pronoun they (something like “it” " in the singular, although they originally means "they"). This new pronoun is "intended to refer to people who do not identify as he or she." The related languages Norwegian, Swedish and Danish have also recently introduced a similar “neutral” pronoun hen instead of han and hun (“he” and “she”), respectively.

But let's return to the conflict within the liberal community - in particular, between feminists and the drivers of LGBT values among British officials. The fact is that it was feminists who were at the origins of the current freedoms for sexual minorities. If the theorists of feminism, who introduced the concept of “gender” into the mass consciousness, replacing it with the concept of “sex,” only theorized on this topic in the 80s of the last century, today their theory has become a gender ideology that formed the basis of the entire Western world order. This is evidenced by the current legislatively enshrined gender freedom in the West and, of course, the latest trick of the British Foreign Office.

Experts familiar with the issue know that the official author of gender ideology is the American feminist Judith Butler. Her book “Gender Trouble: Feminism and the Subversion of Identity” (Butler Judith. Gender Trouble: Feminism and the Subversion of Identity / Judith Butler // Routledge, 1990, 1999), which is considered the fundamental work of gender theory, is widely known. J. Butler does not hide his goal; the phrase in the title of the book - “undermining identity” - speaks for itself. In this book, J. Butler writes about the need to “destroy the interaction of the sexes” and believes that heterosexuality in people is forcibly brought up by various external circumstances, and therefore this “forced heterosexuality” must be destroyed.

Among the theorists who are the founders of today's gender freedom is the feminist Shulamith Firestone, who wrote the book "The Dialectics of Gender: The Case of the Feminist Revolution." She states, in part: “The ultimate goal of the feminist revolution, unlike the first wave of the feminist movement, should be the elimination not only of male privilege, but also of the gender division itself: genital differences between people will no longer have cultural significance.<…>Procreation carried out by one sex for the benefit of both will be replaced by artificial reproduction" (Firestone Shulamith. The Dialectic of Sex: The Case for Feminist Revolution / Shulamith Firestone // William Morrow and Company Inc., 1970).

Feminist Alison Jagger also belongs to this “pleiad” with her book “Feminist Politics and Human Nature.” We read from her: “It should be remembered that the final transformation of human nature, which socialist-feminists strive for, goes beyond the liberal concept of psychological androgyny and implies the possibility of transforming the “physical” capabilities of a person, some of which were still considered biologically inherent only to one sex . This transformation may even include the abilities of fertilization, lactation and pregnancy, so that, for example, one woman can impregnate another, men and nulliparous women can produce milk, and a fertilized egg can be transplanted into the body of a woman or even a man." (Jaggar Alison. Feminist Politics and Human Nature / Jaggar Alison // Totowa, NJ: Rowman & Allanheld, 1983).

Here it is - the riot of fantasy that I spoke about above and which “theoretically” justifies the tilt of Western society towards the absolutization of LGBT values. However, modern feminists, apparently, do not suspect this and therefore throw stones at their own garden.

Let them fight and argue there, at home. Without us. And yet, it is worth asking the question: if the UN responds to the British initiative, then in Russia the concept of “mother” may also be banned?

President Putin made an encouraging statement on December 19, 2013: “It is important for me to protect our population from some quasi-values that are very difficult to perceive by our citizens, our population. The question is not to criticize someone. The question is to to protect us from the rather aggressive behavior of some social groups, which, in my opinion, not only live as they want, but rather aggressively impose their point of view on other people in other countries.”

Let me add: and from the aggressive behavior of some states.

Pregnancy is a physiological process in which a new human organism develops in a woman’s uterus, resulting from fertilization.

Pregnancy lasts on average for women 280 days(40 weeks, which corresponds to 9 calendar months or 10 lunar months). Pregnancy is also usually divided into 3 trimesters of 3 calendar months each.

Signs of early pregnancy

In the early stages, the diagnosis of pregnancy is made on the basis of doubtful and probable signs.

Questionable signs of pregnancy- various kinds of subjective sensations, as well as objectively determined changes in the body, outside the internal genital organs: taste whims, changes in olfactory sensations, easy fatigue, drowsiness, pigmentation of the skin on the face, along the white line of the abdomen, nipples and areola.

Possible signs of pregnancy- objective signs from the genital organs, mammary glands and when staging biological reactions to pregnancy. These include: cessation of menstruation in women of childbearing age, enlargement of the mammary glands and the appearance of colostrum when squeezed out of the nipples, cyanosis of the mucous membrane of the vagina and cervix, changes in the shape and consistency of the uterus, and an increase in its size.

You can first verify the presence of pregnancy at home using a rapid test for the content of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin in a woman’s urine (the test is carried out from the first day of the delay of the next menstruation).

It allows you to confirm the fact of pregnancy.

Changes in the body of a pregnant woman

Numerous and complex changes occur in a woman's body during pregnancy. These physiological changes create conditions for the intrauterine development of the fetus and prepare the woman’s body for labor and breastfeeding of the newborn. Menstruation stops, the mammary glands increase in volume, and the nipples darken.

Many pregnant women experience nausea and sometimes vomiting in the first trimester - these symptoms are commonly called. Weakness, drowsiness, heartburn, drooling, changes in taste, and frequent urination often occur. These disturbances in well-being are characteristic of a healthy and normal pregnancy.

Particularly large changes occur in the woman’s genital organs. Each time the uterus grows, the blood supply to the internal and external genital organs increases. The tissues swell and become elastic, which facilitates their better stretching during childbirth. In the mammary glands, the number and volume of glandular lobules increase, their blood supply increases, they become tense, from the nipples. There is a sharp increase in the amount of gonadotropic hormones, as well as estrogens and progesterone, produced first by the corpus luteum (a temporary gland formed at the site of the follicle from which the mature egg emerged) and then. Hormones secreted by the corpus luteum (progesterone and, to a lesser extent, estrogens) help create conditions for the proper development of pregnancy. The corpus luteum undergoes reverse development after the fourth month due to the development of the hormonal function of the placenta.

To manage pregnancy, it is necessary (3 - 4 weeks after the delay of menstruation), where the doctor examines and examines the external and internal genital organs, and, if necessary, prescribes additional examinations.

Genital organs during pregnancy

Uterus. During pregnancy, the size, shape, position, consistency and reactivity (excitability) of the uterus changes. The uterus gradually enlarges throughout pregnancy. Enlargement of the uterus occurs mainly due to hypertrophy of the muscle fibers of the uterus; At the same time, muscle fibers multiply and the newly formed muscle elements of the reticular-fibrous and argyrophilic “framework” of the uterus grow.

The uterus is not only a fruit repository that protects the fetus from adverse external influences, but also a metabolic organ that provides the fetus with enzymes and complex compounds necessary for the plastic processes of a rapidly developing fetus.

Vagina During pregnancy, it lengthens, widens, and the folds of the mucous membrane appear more sharply. The external genitalia loosen during pregnancy.

Lifestyle of a pregnant woman, regime, nutrition and hygiene

The developing fetus receives all the necessary nutrients from the mother. The well-being of the fetus depends entirely on the health of the mother, her working conditions, rest, and the state of the nervous and endocrine systems.

Pregnant women are exempt from night shifts, heavy physical work, work associated with body vibration or adverse effects of chemicals on the body. substances. During pregnancy, sudden movements, heavy lifting and significant fatigue should be avoided. A pregnant woman needs to sleep at least 8 hours a day. A walk before bed is recommended.

A pregnant woman must be carefully protected from infectious diseases, which pose a particular danger to the body of the pregnant woman and the fetus.

During pregnancy, you need to be especially careful about keeping your skin clean. Clean skin helps eliminate metabolic products that are harmful to the body through sweat.

A pregnant woman should wash her external genitalia twice a day with warm water and soap. Douching during pregnancy should be prescribed with great caution.

During pregnancy, you should carefully monitor the condition of your oral cavity and carry out the necessary treatment.

The mammary glands must be washed daily with warm water and soap and dried with a towel. These methods prevent cracked nipples and mastitis. If so, then you should massage them.

Maternity clothes should be comfortable and loose: you should not wear tight belts, tight bras, etc. In the second half of pregnancy, it is recommended to wear a bandage that should support the abdomen, but not squeeze it.

A pregnant woman should wear low-heeled shoes.
